My new book, Penelope's Plight, is getting awesome reviews!
So thrilled! I'm hearing that my new book is my best one yet. This makes me so happy! I worked extremely hard on this story. I had the idea in my head since I first wrote Sarah's Solace five years ago, so it was wonderful to finally bring it to life and share it with everyone. I loved Penelope when she was first introduced in Sarah's Solace. However, Penelope's Plight may be read separately from the Solace Series. I had a vision of her being this really cool and brave chick who lives to help the spirits get revenge. My goal was to write a book about her that was more adult, suspenseful, dangerous and sexy. I believe I achieved that goal. I've been told that the book is hard to put down, and everyone loves the twists and turns. Thank you to everyone who supports me. It's because of you that I used what last bit of energy I had nearly every night to write and edit. It was worth it! My readers are worth it. :)

Finished Writing My Third Book!
I am thrilled to announce that I have finally finished writing my third book! This is a book about Penelope, who was first introduced in Sarah's Solace. Penelope has a special relationship with the spirits, which you will learn all about ... I have a ton of editing to do still, but I can't wait to share this story. It's a wonderful feeling to finish writing a novel. I never thought I would actually write one, let alone three. Since this book takes place in the South, it was fitting that I celebrated by making peach cobbler. It was yummy! Thank you to everyone for your support!

200 Pages!
I know it's taking me a while this time, but I'm excited to have written 200 pages of my third novel! It's getting there! I do love this story and will be anxious to share it. I also look forward to finishing my first draft and then going back and reading it. The beginning of the editing process is always so much fun. By the end, it becomes tedious and frustrating, but then the excitement builds again when I create the cover and publish. I want to thank everyone for your support. I am still taken by surprise when people ask me about my books and say that they look forward to another one. You are my inspiration!

100 pages!
I've written 100 pages of my third book! I'm very excited about the progress. I will go ahead and say that it is about Penelope (introduced in Sarah's Solace, not to be confused with Priscilla). Penelope was one of Veronica's friends who liked to push the limits. Most people refer to her as a bit of a bitch. :) Her character came out of nowhere when I was writing Sarah's Solace, but I knew immediately that I wanted to write a book about her and the type of book I wanted it to be. I don't want to say too much yet, but I'm happy with what I've written so far. I'll keep you posted!

Time to Read, Time to Write
I feel like blogging about this because I have to admit that I'm so tired of hearing, "I don't have time to read." Well, none of us have time. Seriously! We are ALL busy. I work a full time job, spend a lot of time with family, cook, clean, homestead, etc. Oh, and I like to watch TV. But I LOVE to read, and I love to write. It's not for everyone, but that's cool. Not everyone loves novels. I didn't used to be into it like I am now, but I've grown to love it SO much. I read during my lunch breaks, while in line at the pharmacy or in the waiting room, before bed, while riding in the car for hours. Basically, I find the time. As for writing, I force myself to write, not every night, but more nights than I feel like it. I write even though I'm tired, even though I'm having trouble thinking of content, but somehow I'm able to get it flowing, and it feels so good when I do. I'm afraid to talk too much about my third book yet, but I feel like I'm on to something, and it's in the back of my mind constantly, so wish me luck. :) Anyway, my advice is that everyone should do what you enjoy, and 'find' the time to do it. It's worth it.

Thank you for all the wonderful reviews!
I just want to thank everyone who continues to give my books such awesome reviews! It means so much to me when I'm going about my day and then suddenly discover that someone in the world has just finished reading Sarah's Solace and was touched by it. It makes me feel so good. It's funny that people often ask me how many books I've sold, but rarely do they ask what my books are actually about or what kind of reviews I've been getting. I don't focus on money. I'm just so happy that people are loving my books!
